In the 2010 series of profiles produced by the Pôle de Dakar and illustrating the status of African education systems, one novelty is worthy of note: in addition to the 53 country profiles, regional profiles have been elaborated, for each group of countries:

2004 Regional Profiles
These regional profiles were produced for the meetings of the education ministers of the ECOWAS, CEMAC and PALOP regions. They represent a panorama of education in three African zones: the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) and the Portuguese-Speaking Countries in Africa (PALOP) to which Equatorial Guinea is associated.
