In two illustrated pages, the profiles produced by the Pôle de Dakar describe the status of African education systems. The profiles contain: (i) indicators relating to the EFA objectives; (ii) indicators relating to the demographic and macroeconomic context; (iii) indicators of primary level results and education policy (mainly the indicators of the indicative framework of the Fast Track initiative); and (iv) financial indicators computed for the overall education sector.
