Specialized Training in Sector Policy and Education System Management

A training course in Sectoral Analysis and Management of the Education System (SAMES) is offered to African education officials, jointly organized by the Pôle de Dakar and the University of the Gambia (UTG). SAMES training covers the first year of a full Master's degree programme.

The SAMES training programme is directed at the officers of the ministries responsible for education, finance and planning. Technical and financial partners and independent candidates may also be accepted when places are available.

An Objective to Reinforce Education Sector Analysis Capacities

The objective of the SAMES training is to share the analysis methods developed by the Pôle de Dakar with the staff responsible for the management, financing and evaluation of education systems.

This professional training course, which is both concrete and illustrative, enables to reinforce the capacities of African officials working in the areas indicated.

A Course Alterning Distance Learning with Group Classes

The SAMES training is directed at the staff of the countries concerned who are actively working in the management of education systems.

Over 12 months, the training alternates distance learning and group classes. Three of the latter are organized over the period, and are compulsory for all participants.

A qualification-Granting Training Course

The SAMES training course is part of the Bachelors-Masters-PhD system and offers the opportunity to validate 60 credits, equivalent to a full year of a Masters degree.
